Refund policy

At Smocked Peacock, we take pride in our hand-sewn clothing. Please review our policies below regarding returns and defective items.

Standard Returns (Non-Defective Items) We understand that sizing or preferences can vary. If you wish to return a non-defective item, please note the following:

Timeframe: You must initiate the return within 8 days of receiving your order.

Condition: Items must be unesed, unwashed, and in their original condition with tags attached. 

Fees: The customer is responsible for return shipping cost. A 20% restocking fee will be deducted from the final refund amount. 

Refunds: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7 days of our receipt of the returned item. 

Defective or Damaged Items If your order arrives incomplete, incorrect, damaged (as determined by Smocked Peacock), or defective, please contact us within 8 days of receipt so we can assist you.

Many of our pieces feature beautiful handmade details, which means you may notice slight variations from item to item. We believe these unique touches—such as minor differences in sizing, a stray thread, or slightly uneven smocking—add character to our clothing and are not considered defects. Because of this, we do not offer refund for these natural variations. All return requests are subject to final approval by The Smocked Peacock.

Defective items must be returned within 10 business days from the delivery date.

A replacement will be sent if the item is in stock. If out of stock, a full refund will be issued within 7 days of receipt of the return.

Estimated Arrival Times

All estimated arrival times (ETAs) for preordered items are approximate and subject to change. While we strive to meet these timelines, delivery dates may occasionally be impacted by unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, including global supply chain disruptions or severe weather. We appreciate your understanding should any delays occur.

Important Notice: Hand-Made Quality All of our smocked and French knot items are meticulously hand-sewn. Slight variations in uniformity are normal and add to the charm of each piece. However, if you require perfection in uniformity, we kindly ask that you refrain from purchasing.

Customization Note Please double-check spelling and customization details carefully before purchasing. Personalized or monogrammed items are final sale unless there is a manufacturing defect.
